How it all started...
Nestled in the scenic ranch and farmlands of eastern Coryell County, Texas, Historic Eagle Springs Baptist Church is home to a vibrant, intergenerational congregation.
Our roots in this sacred place stretch back to 1858, with a period of dormancy during the mid-to-late 20th century. In 1998, new buildings were erected, and new life was breathed into our church family.
Today, we represent the varied faces, generations, and stories of our community, yet we stand together as one through our shared love for Christ Jesus, His Gospel, and one another.

At Eagle Springs Baptist Church, we believe that God is calling us to expand our vision and deepen our impact in our community and beyond. As a small, rural Baptist church, we may be modest in size, but our faith is mighty, and our potential is limitless when we align ourselves with God’s purpose.
Expanding the vision means stepping out in faith to embrace new opportunities for ministry, outreach, and discipleship. It’s about reaching out to the lost, serving the marginalized, and creating a welcoming space where all can experience the love of Christ.
As we seek to grow spiritually and numerically, let us remain rooted in prayer, guided by Scripture, and united in our mission to share the Gospel. Together, with God’s guidance, we can expand our vision to reflect His kingdom work in powerful and transformative ways.

Where we are headed...
At Eagle Springs Baptist Church, we are excited about where God is leading us as we move forward in faith and purpose. As a rural Baptist church, we are deeply rooted in our community, committed to preach the Word with clarity and passion, edify the saints through discipleship, and go into the highways and hedges to share the Gospel. We are looking ahead to how we can grow spiritually, serve more effectively, and reach further than ever before.
We are headed toward a future where our church is not just a place of worship but a beacon of hope, love, and transformation for everyone in our area. This means:
